International Recruitment and Immigration Process in Canada

We support Canadian employers at every stage of the process, from analyzing labor needs to the arrival and integration of foreign worker into Canada.
Our approach includes two complementary components: international recruitment and immigration procedures, while ensuring compliance with the applicable requirements of the federal government and, when required, by provincial authorities.

Step 1

Step 1 — Labor need analysis

We start with a detailed analysis of your company's needs to determine the profile sought and the conditions applicable to recruitment.
This first analysis also makes it possible to identify the main requirements applicable to the file before undertaking the recruitment procedures.

Step 2

Step 2 — Development of the international recruitment strategy

Once the profile is established, we prepare a recruitment strategy adapted to the position and the sector of activity.
When the position is subject to the requirements of the Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TWIP), recruitment must also comply with the rules applicable to the LMIA.

Step 3

Step 3 — Candidate Selection and Validation

We accompany the employer in the selection process to retain a candidate whose profile actually matches the job requirements.
The objective is to ensure that the selected candidate, the position offered and the immigration program requirements are consistent with each other.

Step 4

Step 4 — Determination of the applicable immigration program

After the candidate's selection, we determine the route of immigration corresponding to the situation of the employer and the worker.
The choice of process depends in particular on the position, salary, place of work, candidate profile and the requirements of the applicable program.

Step 5

Step 5 — Preparation and filing of the LMIA, when required

When the job requires an LMIA, we support the employer in preparing and submitting the file to Service Canada / ESDC.
The application is generally filed online using LMIA Online, from the Employer's Job Bank account.

Step 6

Step 6 — Recruitment in accordance with LMIA requirements

When the TFTP requirements apply, we do the required recruitment before the LMIA (3 high-salary activities, including Job Bank + 2 others, or 8 weeks for low salary).
We keep the evidence: announcements, applications, CVs, interviews and results. Files must be kept for at least 6 years.

Step 7

Step 7 — Filing and follow-up of the LMIA request

We prepare the complete file and accompany the employer in the deposit with Service Canada. The file includes company information, position, recruitment evidence, legal documents, employment contract and transition plan if required.
LMIA fees are typically CA$1000 per item and are not refundable by the worker. We also ensure the follow-up of the file and exchanges with the authorities if necessary.

Step 8

Step 8 — LMIA Decision and Preparation of Work Permit Application

After the Service Canada assessment, a decision is made on the LMIA. If it is favorable, the employer sends the necessary documents to the worker to continue his immigration process. We then prepare the rest of the file: LMIA, job offer, employer and worker's documents, forms, supporting documents and explanations required.

Step 9

Step 9 — Worker's work permit application

The worker submits his application for a work permit to IRCC. We accompany it in the preparation of the file, the forms, the explanatory letter, the verification of the documents, the payment of the costs, as well as the follow-up of the request, including biometrics and medical examinations if required.
The permit can be opened or linked to an employer depending on the situation.

Step 10

Step 10 — Entry and Arrival Authorization in Canada

Once the authorizations have been obtained, we support the worker in his preparation for arrival in Canada:

Verification of travel and immigration documents, preparation for entry to the border or the airport, coordination with the employer and support for the first administrative procedures.

Step 11

Step 11 — Integration and post-arrival support

Our support can continue after the worker arrives to facilitate his integration.
We assist the employer and the worker to ensure the compliance of working conditions, manage changes in situation, renewals of permits and new applications, as well as support towards a possible permanent residence if eligible.
